IFA 2011: 3D AIO and new Vaio S series laptop too

The big news with the L series AIO is that it brings 3D action into the equation, and is also begging for some 3D PS3 action via its 3D HDMI input - a first for an all-in-one PC.
It packs a 24-inch monitor with a Full HD 1080p resolution, that is also multitouch compatible and packs Sony's Edge Access tech too.
In terms of the PC power, you're looking at a Sandy Bridge Intel chip with 8GB of RAM and a 1TB HDD. Graphics should be pretty decent too thanks to the Nvidia GeForce GT 540M with 1GB VRAM. It also packs a Blu-ray drive, Bluetooth 3.0, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI in and out and a HD webcam.
The Vaio S series laptop has seen a 15.5-inch version added to the equation. Selected Blu-ray models also boast a glasses-free 3D experience with a 3D panel that goes over the display.
The 15.5-inch Vaio S, like the L AIO, has a Sandy Bridge chip, and a Full HD display. RAM is 6GB, storage is 750GB and there's a AMD Radeon HD 6630M GPU with 1GB VRAM, plus Intel HD Graphics 3000. Battery life is a huge 13 hours using Sony's sheet technique that we've seen on other Vaio models.
The Sony Vaio L 24-inch AIO will hit UK shops in October, as will the new S series laptop. No prices as of yet, we'll update as soon as we know.
