The Guardian has finally decided to transfer its super slick iOS app to Android, bringing with it one of the best news apps Google OS users can download.
On top of being able to read stories (obviously), you can also view news video and listen to podcasts within the app. Favourites and your custom homepage can be downloaded daily at a specific time that you set, which is then stored on your phone.
Favourites themselves are customisable, allowing you to store individual contributors, topics or sections. Picture galleries work full screen in both portrait and landscape and the usual left to right swiping is possible.
Android's share menu is also incorporated directly into the app and allows you to send stories to your social networks.
The application is live right now on the Android Market and costs nothing to download.
Fan of the Guardian app?
